Hockey Geelong Sharks will enter teams for Under 14 boys and Under 14 girls in the 2023 Hockey Victoria winter competitions. Selection trials will be held at Stead Park on Sunday February 12 and 26, 2023.
NOTE: there are currently 4 HG Sharks junior teams entered in the HV Winter competition, with 2 teams entered in both U14 and U16 age groups. There is the opportunity for Sharks to have more teams entered if player numbers permit.
The 2023 season commences on May 5 (tbc) and runs for 14 rounds, with a mid-season break for the July school holidays, before finishing with a two-week finals series.
Age Groups:
- U14 Teams: Players aged under 14 years on 1 January 2023 (i.e. born on or after 1 Jan 2009)
- U16 Teams: Players born on or after 1 January 2007
2023 Sharks U14 and U16 Girls and Boys Selection Trials:
Trial 1: Sunday 12 February 2023 8.30am – 10.30am
Trial 2: Sunday 26 February 2023 8.30am – 10.30am
