Thanks to all those who were involved in the recent selection trials for the HG Sharks Junior teams. It was great to see such an enthusiastic group of players in attendance.
U16 Girls Wanted
The HG Sharks Junior teams are looking for a few more girls to join the U16 team, which has been entered in the Hockey Victoria Shield B competition.
Premier League Opportunity
In an exciting development, the Hockey Geelong Sharks men have been given a place in Premier League for the 2022 season. This is a fantastic opportunity for these players to play at the highest level of the Hockey Victoria competition.
As part of the team’s participation in this competition, the team will require 6 junior players to act as ball kids for each of the team’s home games in Geelong.
If you are aged 14 or above and would like a front row seat at some of the best hockey in the state, this is your opportunity. If you think you could handle the pace of these games and be able to return the ball to play quickly your help would be appreciated.
